Just got back from my trip to Europe a couple days ago! It was an amazing adventure that began in Paris.
From there me, my sister Kacey , and the Josh Abbott Band, crew & wives traveled to Le Puy en Velay, and Crappone, France where they played their first show at a huge country music festival.
Then we all took a beautiful train ride into Italy. After staying a few days in Milan the band played a few more shows and we visited Bologna, Ferrara, Saviergno, Venice, and Rome.
Overall I’d have to say Venice was probably my favorite but Rome, Ferrara and Le Puy come pretty close.
of course we did a little photoshoot!
see that tiny little statue up there on the mountain! well we hiked all the way up there. amazing view!
the first show the band played in Crappone, France. although no one spoke English the crowd loved it!
we hiked a long way to see this! it was worth it.
the view from our room in Le Puy en Velay! it’s nice to have a fiddle player around when you stumble upon religious flash mobs in the train station.
made some new friends from Australia on the train to Milan.
seriously. best meal of my life at papa francesco’s! hung out by a Europe’s oldest castle.. WITH A MOAT! no biggie.
amazing statues in Ferrara, Italy.
this turned out to be a very interesting night.
oldest winery in Europe!
practicing before one of the shows! rockin’ little cutie, Rafael.
tasted some real Italian gelato!
Venice street vendors!
Me & Kacey in front of the colosseum! This was amazing.
If you ever get the chance to visit any of these places I’d highly recommend it!
Check back soon for a video from the entire trip. xo!
